Genesis 37-42

1. As you consider each of the characters in God's story, whose destination are they concerned about?

2. As you think about the actions of the characters, what seems to motivate them (e.g. their upbringing, themselves, love of others, God's touch on their lives, etc.)?

3. How does God make use of circumstances to further his destination plans for his people?

1 comment:

  1. All of the characters except Joseph seem to be very self-focused. They act for immediate gratification, whether in anger or pleasure, with no thought as to the consequences.

Despite Joseph's suffering, he acts according to what is right and is blessed for it.

God uses all these actions to continue to provide for his people--you can tell from Joseph's dreams that it was intended this way from the start.
