Ezra 1-7

1. How does God work through a foreign king?

2. What difficulties do the Israelites face in trying to rebuild the temple?

3. How does God smooth the way?

4. What is similar and what is different to the previous building of the temple?

1 comment:

  1. God uses Cyrus to begin rebuilding his temple, but it doesn't have nearly the glory as in Solomon's day. Despite the political maneuverings of the governors in Israel, the Persian kings are true to their laws--not to end whatever a king has pronounced, and God makes it possible for the work to continue. As we've consistently seen, God is control of his plan.
