Acts 13-14

1. What similarities do you see between Paul's and Peter's ministries? What do you see that's different?

2. What is Paul's goal? How does he go about it?

3. What personal difficulties does Paul face in the process?

  1. Some of the similarities between Paul's and Peter's ministries are incredible--such as the healing of the crippled man in Lystra. But more importantly, they preach the same risen Christ and the freedom found in putting faith in him. God's power is working through both of them, yet focuses on the Jews in Peter's case, and on the Gentiles for Paul. He still preaches to the synagogues, but moves on to Gentiles when his message is not accepted. Paul makes light of his difficulties, but he is rejected and suffers for the gospel just as Jesus did.
