1 Corinthians 6-11

1. What issues do the Corinthians struggle with that Paul addresses?

2. How does Paul regard temptation?

3. How does marriage help to address temptation?

4. What is Paul's general approach toward the use of created things?

1 comment:

  1. Paul addresses quite a few issues with the Corinthians: sexual immorality, lawsuits among believers, marriage & divorce, eating food sacrifices to idols, and propriety in worship. At the same time, he recognizes that all of the temptations connected with these things are common to all people--there's nothing incredibly strange about struggling with these things, but God gives us the power we need to overcome them and live godly lives. Anything on this earth can become a stumbling block, but we must proceed with humility and God's wisdom to move forward and not get frozen in fear by all the things we could do wrong.
