The issues James addresses are SO similar today--things like dealing with struggles, acting on our faith, not being judgmental, controlling our tongues, focus on materialism, waiting on God--our hearts haven't changed. For me, I think there would be a tie between stuff related to the tongue and having joy in the midst of struggles. James' advice doesn't fit with worldly thinking at all, but promotes peace and righteousness.
