Hebrews 6-9

1. How does Christ represent a different kind of priesthood than that of traditional Jewish law?

2. How is the sanctuary that Christ serves in superior?

3. How is Christ's sacrifice superior?

4. Where does that leave us?

1 comment:

  1. Everything about Christ is superior--he is a high priest not dependent on bloodline but on his relationship with God; he serves a sanctuary that is not earthly/temporary, but eternal; he offers a sacrifice that is once-for-all, that really erases sin in contrast to the OT system based on the blood of animals. So rather than a system that points to our need for change, or that points to something better in the future, Christ REALLY makes a difference in our lives. Because of his sacrifice we can truly have a relationship with God himself.
