Acts 19; Ephesians 1-6

1. How did Paul's time in Ephesus draw some to Christ and alienate others?

2. What underlying issue does Paul seem to be addressing in his letter to the Ephesians?

3. What do Paul's prayers for the Ephesians emphasize as important?

4. How should the Ephesians' lives reflect their beliefs?

  1. It's surprising how long Paul stayed in Ephesus. He must have gotten to know the Ephesians pretty well. But after he left, they seem to have problems working together, based on the comments in his letter. As he prays for them to know Christ more personally, they would have greater chance of restoring unity amongst themselves as well.
