Hebrews 1-5

1. On what basis should we pay attention to what Jesus has to say?

2. How does Jesus' authority compare to other esteemed biblical authorities, such as angels, Moses, and priests?

3. On what basis can Jesus relate to our own sufferings?

4. How does the writer caution us regarding belief and unbelief?

1 comment:

  1. Jesus is the exact representation of God's being--he came as God in the flesh, superior to any other authority that had gone before--angels, Moses, priests, or the law. So we should listen to him! And yet with such high and mighty claims, he also humbled himself to become human so that he could relate to our struggles--what love! But there's an urgency to the authors message as well. We can't just sit around wavering in our belief or unbelief--the time to believe is now--there does come a time when it's too late, so we should encourage one another today to follow the way God has set before us.
