Daniel 1-6

1. What is the reputation of the Jews in Babylon compared to in Israel & Judah?

2. How is God's reputation different in Babylon as a result of the exile?

3. Who is in charge of the destination of the Babylonian kingdom?

4. What is the means of other nations learning about God?

  1. It seems ironic that only in the punishment of God's people do they begin to truly carry out his plans to be a light to the Gentiles. Through the witness of Daniel and his friends, the Babylonians see the power of God displayed in his faithful people. Despite Babylon's great power, God is clearly in control of the kingdom.
